Who's Mommeee?
First of all, I'm a 45 year old mother of 2 boys. The name Mommeee came about when my oldest was little. When he would say mommy, he would exaggerate the "e" sound at the end and draw it out. So, hence, Mommeee was born.
That was many years ago since The Oldest is now 20. He now calls me Madre but Mommeee will always be who I am.
The Kid (now 9 years old), on the other hand, calls me Momma. I love the way he says it, too. He is such a loving child and the way he says it melts my heart.
I'm currently going through a divorce so who knows what's to come in this area of my life.
I work away from home as a pharmacy technician. I love what I do because there's something new to learn every day.
I love to cook, too. I'm not a Martha Stewart type cook. You'll rarely see fancy dishes on my table. I instead opt for paper plates and plastic forks. Besides, who has the closet space for a set of dishes for every occasion? I have a set of fancy dishes but, just like me, they have a few chips in them.
I like to take pictures of the food items I create. I use my camera phone so no fancy photography goes on here. I like to be creative with my recipe ideas so occasionally you'll see what may seem to be something strange but is really good. I also like to try new foods so I plan to share my adventures in food discovery.
I started this blog as an outlet for my thoughts. I don't know where it's going to go but I hope you'll hang around and enjoy the ride!
