MAYBE I SHOULD CHANGE THE TITLE...
...to It's a BUSY Mommeee's Life. It's been so hectic around here lately sometimes I don't know if I'm coming or going.
Work has us on 6 hours of mandatory overtime because the volume is outrageous. Just one department is averaging 55,000 faxed prescription requests a month. That doesn't include the paper prescriptions that are being mailed in.
The overtime is tough on me because then I don't get home until 2:30 am but the extra money will be nice. Maybe I need to start doing some investment research. Any suggestions?
The boys are doing well. Big Bro just got back from a trip to Chicago with the grandparents. Little Bro is staying busy walking and jabbering. He's learning to put 2 sounds together and I'd swear I heard him say "doggy" yesterday. I know it was probably a fluke but it was just strange since he was playing with Ranger at the time.
I hope everyone is doing well. It's once again time to shove off to work.

DISCRIMINATION OR NOT...HE HAS THE RIGHT!
A cheesesteak deli owner in Philly has posted a sign on his door saying "This is America: When ordering, please speak English!". The city of Philly is warning him that he's in violation of some city ordinance that prohibits descriminations (Read more here).
Even if he is discriminating against someone, that should be his right. We have a right to freedoms in this country and whether or not he chooses to service a certain group of people should be his choice. He's the only one that's going to be hurt in the long run. He's only going to miss out on the business of those who choose to not eat at his deli.
If anyone feels descriminated against, just don't eat there. It's that simple.

Now I know I haven't posted in a short while but I've been battling sickness after sickness and just haven't felt like being online. Everyone's doing well. Big Brother just returned tonight from a weekend in Chicago visiting his Aunt and Uncle. He says he had a good time and I miss him. I'll get to see him when he gets up for school tomorrow.
IF he has school. We're getting slammed right now with 4-5 inches of snow. That made for a nice long journey home. Once again, the stupid dumbasses were out on the streets.
Hubster and I took advantage of Big Brother being gone. We took Little Bro over to my sister's house and we ate at The Oyster Bar with a couple of friends. The food was as good as always. I didn't much care for losing $30 at the casino afterwards but it was still fun.
As for the weight-loss (for the Future MILF's out there), I'm holding steady at a loss of 10 lbs. It would help if I could get over this cold and get motivated a little more. We'll see what the next week brings.

ARE YOU A STUPID DRIVER OR A DUMBASS DRIVER?...
It snowed today just enough to make the roads a sloppy, slick mess. I didn't find it too difficult to get to work this afternoon but evidently, others were having difficulties.
I watched a car spin out on the highway (luckily it was on the other side of the road from me). She seemed to be ok and got back in her lane ok. On the way home, it was as if everyone thought it best to drive in slow motion. The roads had been cleared and salted by this time so I didn't see any reason why anyone shouldn't be driving somewhere close to the speed limits.
So this made me think.
You know how it is when the weather's bad and you're being extra careful, driving slow and really watching what you're doing? Then along comes that car that passes you actually doing somewhere close to the speed limit so you feel the need to call them a stupid driver.
Or, you feel the streets aren't that bad so you're doing the speed limit passing all those dumbasses who feel the need to be too careful.
Can you see where I'm going with this? I think it's funny that during bad weather, we're all actually stupid dumbasses!
It all depends on your perspective. :)
