Yes, I've been absent without leave lately. I haven't felt like talking, not even to girlfriends. I know my blog missed me. Or is it that I've missed my blog?
So here's what's been going on:
I found out that I'm allergic to the Wellbutrin. It made my stomach hurt really bad and on the 3rd day of stomach pains, I broke out into a horrible rash. According to the pharmacist at work, only 0.1% of those studied had this reaction. That means I'm special. I know, more like riding the short-bus-special. So the doctor switched me to Celexa. It makes me so, so sleepy. Not a sleep all the time sleepy, but a foggy sort of sleepy. I yawn all the time. Today was actually the first day I've felt awake in over a week.
We took the kids last weekend to Shatto Milk Company's farm and took a tour. It was awesome. They provided lunch (hot dogs, baked beans, bottled water, and ice cream). We got to go into the barn and see the baby cows. Yes, I know they're actually called calves but I like baby cows better. One of them was 11 hours old and was just beginning to get his legs. And here's the shocker: I milked a cow! It was so much easier than I ever imagined. The udder had a different texture than what I was expecting, too.
On another note, I found a new sitter that will start watching Gooey in the middle of July. I haven't posted about this but it's been a major headache for me to think about even beginning to interview people. We did visit with one woman but I just wasn't "feeling it" with her. So I stopped by my old babysitter's house the other day to see if she knew of anyone. She lives down the street from me. By my old babysitter, I mean the woman that babysat me from the time I was 9 months old until school started. Anyway, she told me of a few people but then asked if I would be willing to wait until the middle of July. She said that if I could, she'd watch him for me! How awesome is that? She's my Mary Poppins of babysitters...a dream come true! This is such a weight off my mind.
Among a few other things going on are:
I ruined my keyboard so now I'm using the old "spare" that we keep around. The keys on this are so loud, I'll bet if you listen close, you can hear me typing this.
My sister bought me a new nightgown. I thought that was so sweet of her to think of me. It's nothing sexy or fancy but it's so soft and comfortable, all I want to do is crawl into bed and sleep in it.
Well, that about sums up my days. I know, nothing of much interest but this is my life.

I hope you are feeling better. That stinks the the medicine you are taking to feel better makes you feel crappy! LOL, about the keyboard. I think my roommate in college had the loudest keyboard on Earth, there is no way your spare on can top hers!!!
