I can handle eating them if they are cut up very small and hidden under a waterfall of salad dressing.
My husband, on the other hand, loves them.
I would buy them for him and he would meticulously wash and trim them and put them into a container in the fridge so he could nibble one whenever the fancy struck him.
However, sometimes he would forget they were in the fridge and they would live there for a while to ferment until I (being the lucky one to always clean out the fridge)stumbled across this nasty smelling container.
So for many years I have refused to buy radishes. It's become a small joke at family gatherings. My mom buys them for him all the time.
Then, this past Sunday, our pastor was talking about love and how we can show love by doing the little things.
So when I got to the store and saw the radishes as I was buying salad fixings, I decided to show lots of love for him by purchasing radishes.
I brought them home, washes them up really well, and made cute little flowers out of them, just for him. Aren't they pretty?
That's how much I love him!
