Lately it seems I've fallen back to having a glass of wine after work or when I get together with friends.

I'm not an alcoholic in the least bit since I usually limit myself to one glass. (No comments from you, Karye!)

It was prescribed by Dr Oz.

We found a Red Apple Sangria at Applebee's that is fantastic. A little research online and Voila!, a new recipe for home.

1/3 cup Sutter Home Cabernet Sauvignon
1 1/4 ounces apple liqueur (schnapps)
1/2 ounce grenadine
1 1/2 ounces cranberry juice
1 1/2 ounces pineapple juice
Lemon-lime soda

Mix all in a 16 ounce glass and garnish with your favorite fruits.

You can also make it by the pitcher but I prefer 1 glass at a time.

This will definitely be on our summer menu for our Annual 4th of July party.

Yummy! I'll have to try this. Except I'm having more than one if they're good. :P
